Jay Leno’s Chevrolet Z06 For Real Car Simulator

Jay Leno’s Chevrolet Z06 For Real Car Simulator

Jay Leno's Chevrolet Z06 For Real Car Simulator

Let’s flashback for a couple of years. There is a Drag Tag simulator setup in Australia. The simulator will allow you to use your very own car for a simulator, in a virtual environment which will simulates hundreds of locations. You can set the weather conditions, and the time of the day. These features and the whole experiences sounds like a very nice way to waste a couple of hours in a fun way.

Recently, Jay Leno is being visited by the Tag simulator crew, and they brought an example of their simulator into Leno’s Garage. Leno is using his yellow Chevrolet Corvette Z06 which is strapped into the dyno. Jay was taking a tour with the simulators in som different tracks and driving conditions. The long straight road is allowing Leno to push his throttle as hard as he want without any legal or safety repercussions.

Yes, it sounds pretty awesome. A machine will make sure that the air is blowing into the front side of the car while the extractor pulls the gases from the rear. It will be a slick setup and it will look great if you have it in your own garage.

The Future Of GMC’s Acadia Uncertain

The Future Of GMC's Acadia Uncertain

There is some rumours on the web which are saying that the GMC Acadia will be back to the market soon. You may remember that this big crossover car was found itself to be dire straits once before the GMC brand was having a strategic review when the General Motors is close to bankruptcy.

After it is close to death at that moment, the company’s decision makers wwere decided to give the entire brand a stay of execution, including for the Acadia. Now, the latest report suggests that the successor of the past Acadia may be scrapped to reduce the product overlap at GM’s dealer network. Currently, General Motors only produces three Lambda based crossovers, and they are saying that they want to keep the overlap minimum for the dealers of GMC and Buick.

Those three crossovers are Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave. The next generation of Lambda based crossover are expected to be coming in 2014 as their 2015 models. But even if finally the Acadia car will be totally ended, I think GM will still keep their formation of three Lambda crossover, with Cadillac replacing the place of GMC.
